Israel Vs Palestine: The deep Spiritual reason behind the War
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is an ongoing and deeply rooted dispute over the “Holy Land Jerusalem”, and it has garnered tension and global attention for decades now. While much of the focus has been on territorial, political, and humanitarian aspects, but there’s another deep layer to this complex conflict — a spiritual dimension, a sibling rivalry over who is the true heir of Abraham which is often overlooked.
Why does the Arabs are so against Jews?
To answer this, we have to go way back in the time of their common father Abraham. When YHWH (God of the Jews/Christians) promised Abraham to multiply his seed ie.. to give the promise child, he went in a long season of waiting.
“Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Gen 15:5
But Sarah (Abraham’s wife) was barren and was not able to conceive any child. So, Abraham took matters in his own hands and tried to help God by sleeping with his maid servant Hagar and a child named Ishmael was born.
This child was not according to the will or promise of God that He had for His glory but was according to the flesh act of Abraham who became impatient with the years of waiting. When the right time came, Sarah did conceive a child exactly how God promised and Isaac was born. Isaac (the people of Israel) was the child of the covenant promise and Ishmael (the Arab people) was the child of the flesh.
And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.”
Genesis 17: 20–21.
This sibling rivalry is on going till this day except their descendants are nations now. Just one act of disobedience of God’s word by Abraham had such huge ripple effect and has led to such devastation in the future where the nations of Ishmael are hell bent to bring chaos and violence to the chosen people of God ( the Israelites) with whom He has made covenant.
This is both a carnal and a spiritual fight over who owns the Holy City: Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. This is where heaven and earth will merge and God will set His Throne, and so the enemy wants to posses it and occupy it at any cost. They want to snatch the inheritance promised by YHWM for the nation of Israel and take it for themselves and proclaim as the legitimate children of Abraham and of God.
Satan knows his time is near and is working hard via violent terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas (which means cruelty and violence in the Hebrew language). They wants nothing but destruction of the nation state of Israel. But God is with His chosen people and every believer who walks with the Holy Spirit should bless Israel and their people. Pray for Israel because the entire world will go against Israel as they are the chosen ones.
My simple conclusion is this: All these wars and rumors of wars are the signs of the times. We are at the brink of the Second Coming of Jesus. The rapture of the body of Christ can happen anytime now and once the Holy Spirit leaves this world, the great tribulation will usher. Stay vigilant folks and deepen your relationship with Jesus.
