Why Grace is better than Justice: A Christian Take.

I was lately pondering on this topic, what if someone was offered a deal. A deal of getting Grace or Justice. In the eternal dichotomy between Justice and Grace, the choice is deeply personal and often shaped by one’s relationship with God and Jesus. The two options represent contrasting paths in the eternity.

Grace, obtained solely by accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and How He defeated sin, death and satan by offers redemption and forgiveness. On the other hand, Justice is the consequence for those who do not embrace this gift, taking matters on themselves, and so facing the scrutiny of God, who is the ultimate Judge.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — Ephesians 2:8

Grace is a gift, personally hand crafted by God Himself. But if we don’t accept that free gift of Grace, all that remains for us is His wrath because we are sinful by default. We don't deserve any grace but its given to us anyways.

Personally, I lean towards Grace. The idea of receiving undeserved favor and mercy from Jesus who saved me through His blood resonates with me and many more who have given themselves as a living sacrifice as per Romans 12. It provides a pathway to salvation despite our inherent imperfections. Accepting Grace is akin to acknowledging one’s shortcomings and relying on divine compassion. In contrast, facing eternal Justice without the buffer of Grace implies a strict judgment based on divine perfection — a daunting prospect.

So which one do you choose? Ultimately, the choice between Justice and Grace is subjective and rooted in an individual’s free will and convictions. It’s a decision that goes beyond mere consequences and delves into the core of one’s faith and worldview. Choose wisely, choose Grace everyday.
