Add these 6 Steps for an effective Spirit filled Prayer.
Have you ever felt hopeless during your prayer time? As if all the efforts that you are putting for a fruitful conversation with the Lord is having no effect. As if someone is sucking all the faith out of you? Well there might be some principalities in the spirit world that is causing some hinderance. Do remember that we are constantly in a spiritual battle with the kingdom of darkness 24/7 (Ephesians 6:12).
But do not worry , Our Lord has gracefully shared a 6 step prayer process that every Christ believer must pray before their actual prayer.
Step 1: Repent for forgiveness
The first step on this list will always be to Repent of all your sins that you have committed willingly or by mistake. You have to be absolutely genuine with God on this. Get specific with your repentance as an act of faith and ask God to forgive you. This will help you to unload all the burden from your soul.
Step 2: Acknowledge
When you have completed your repentance, the second step would be to acknowledge before our Heavenly Father that He sent His one and only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins on the cross, to take our place, to spare us from an eternity without the Lord and His marvelous resurrection on the 3rd day, when He defeats sin and death.
Praise Him and Thank Him for that.
Step 3: Proclaim Authority
The third step is to proclaim authority against the kingdom of darkness. As a born again soul in Jesus, every believer has received authority from Jesus to do miracle by His name. You must boldly say: In the name of Jesus Christ, I loose holy warring angels and the Hosts of Heaven of all rankings and divisions to scramble, confuse, and block the plans, assignments, schemes, contracts, counter offenses of the enemy.
Because of what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection, He has given us full authority to uproot the kingdom of darkness in its entirely. I proclaim this authority in Jesus name.
Step 4: Identify & Bind
The next step after proclaiming your authority over evil spirits is to identify each of the demonic principalities that is active and bind them. You must say: In Jesus name, let all, gagged, muzzled, deafened, shackled, blinded and muted- every lying spirits, familiar spirits, spirits attempting to impersonate the most High God or Holy spirit, spirits of anxiety, pride, lust, greed, every monitoring spirits, persons practicing witchcraft and attempting to remotely monitor believers, hindering spirits, unclean spirits and spirit of sickness: I bind you as one body and cast you all out into oblivion in the name of Jesus. You are hence forbidden to cause hinderance in my prayer and are never to return to effect anyone.
Step 5: Apply
Congratulations 80% work has been done. The next step is to apply additional protection from other spirits which might lurk around your general area. This step makes sure that your prayer is 100% safe for passage.
You must say: I apply the Blood of Jesus Christ as a shield and covering to act as a sound proof barrier as they cannot see, hear, monitor, or launch an sinister strikes against me or my prayer. Act as a filter so only the words of my Father and Holy Spirit come through. By saying this you must imagine the Blood of Jesus is being applied on you.
Final Step 6: Freestyle
The last step is your prayer. You can now begin to pray for whatever you feel led to pray for by the Holy Spirit. You may pray for what you want or need in your life, or any doubt, anything. Be assured that all the hinderances that were been cause previously are now cleared. Not only for the prayer to reach to the Lord but for the answer of your prayer to be immediately be received from God.
