The War for your Soul’s Attention is Alarming!!
With continuous advancement in the field of technology and data processing, human beings of the 21st century have developed really short attention span over consuming media and information.
This has led to us to a generation where quick gratification drives one’s enthusiasm towards anything, but the judgement of those things weather good or bad is missing. An addiction from Hell!! so to speak.
I am a evangelical Christian and I strongly believe that there is a war going on in the spiritual world and the kingdom of darkness wants all our time to be distracted over worldly things, especially when it comes to social media.
Platforms like Tik-Tok, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube are the biggest platforms of this century that are used against us to butcher our precious time. We have gracefully allowed them to feast on our time and when it comes to God, we are then left with no time to dedicate to Him.
We are all cool spending hours watching weird dances and pet videos on tik-tok but when it comes to the creator of the Universe, suddenly we cannot find 15 minutes to sit calmly for a genuine prayer.
Absorb this:
Your soul is so valuable that both God and the devil wants its attention. God wants to protect you, heal you and build His temple: ‘The Holy Spirit’ in you as per His image. Whereas the devil wants to steal, kill and destroy whatever God wills for you.
I know its a battle because I feel soo much sleepy whenever I pick my Bible to read. It has never ever happened to me while binge watching YouTube videos or scrolling through Instagram. But only when I open the bible, boy I get so distracted. That is not normal.
Hear this. Tomorrow is promised to no one and there are many who have died this very moment without knowing Jesus Christ. Repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior until its too late. You can spend decades playing religious games and never come to the alter on your knees, but this is the moment my friend.
Because Jesus is our Soul Insurance we have.
